ok, lately i've been hearing so much about justin timberlake, and his "justified" album, which, i'll give him, is a funny whitty name for an album, tho i doubt he named it, that's beside the point! everywhere i go, people are actually having good things to say about this. they smirk when they say it, are they trying to be sarcastic and funny, or are they pretending to be sarcastic and funny while running home and singing along with justin with the blinds pulled? is it just me? has anyone else noticed this? please give me some input on this, i find it all very disturbing

I have said it before and I 'll say it again. He just has too much money and too many of the 'right people' behind for the public not to like him. What really sickens me is the fact that this is what music is down to. Music is an art form. Now we have all these radio listening teeny boppers who want to tell me what music is. What bullshit. They don't even fucking like music. Do they own a jazz album or can even name a classic gutair player? There are artists out there who have more talent in their pinky toe then justin and all this pr combined. He is a pretty face with a vocal teacher. A high in sugar low in nutrition cereal in a world wonderful breakfast food. He is not respectable. He isn't even cool. He is fly by night normal joe. I will just be glad when I wake tomorrow that his odds of existing another day will be even smaller. Today we say goodbye to britney. Tomorrow.... well it will be a glorious day.

i don' t know if there's really a sensation over here, everyone laughs at him and his whole 'justified' bullshit.

i think he's ridiculous and all the attention he's receiving is ridiculous... and his singing sounds like he's been kicked in the junk once too many times.

It's simple. He made the album Michael Jackson should have made with his last album.

But for real...

Are any of you even fans of R&B style pop? no? So why in the world are you even paying attention?

Why put all this engergy in a genre of music your not even down for? If it wasn't Justin it would be sombody else. So why take note?

That kicked in the balls thing? It's called falsetto. Nevelle Brothers anyone? Alot of people do it. Not that big of a deal. If he didnt sing falsetto he'd sound like a 12 year old trying to call school pretending to be his father to get himself out of class.

And if you do like it, why are you faking the funk? Buy the damn album and listen to it with the windows open. Play it in your car. List in your favorites list! Getting guff for it? What ever happend to "Fuck you. I like it."

And all the rigormeroll and malarky about "this is where music is going"... Hey, guess what... It's always been there. It's called pop.

I argued so long and so hard against NSync on a message board once that one of the girls there sent me her extra copy of Celebrity. (She bought two to help NSync's first week sales, no kidding.) So I got the damn thing in the mail and put it in and listened to it a few times, then gritted my teeth, then said "INTERESTING..." as I tried to pull away, and fuck. I was gone. Into the NSync black hole. I fucking love that cd.

I don't know how to explain it, but that cd just made me happy. I'd wake up and feel like shit, give it a listen while I walked to work and feel motherfucking happy. Eventually I didn't even care that I was sucking satan's cock. I ain't proud of it, but it's the truth. I think this is probably the worst second post I could possibly make to any message board.

Anyway, I had to check out Justified, and it sucks. The singles are the best tunes, and that ain't saying much. It just doesn't have that good-time, moronically happy, so-worthless-that-it's-great quality of NSync. Justin does imitate singing like a girl at the end of the first track, and that kinda cracked me up... Shit, I better not end up liking that cd or I'm gonna go insane and kill a homeless man.

I agree 100% with you're whole post but I do like R&B and pop. Actually I make myself listen to all music for this reason. Honestly I have found someone doing something in all genres I like and not only that I can appreciate good music even though I might not like it. This album is not good. I know I make a rant on these boards about who I hate but it irks me that people buy such music. To me I can only owe that to how much they are talked about. Really. You try to rationlize Disturbed having the best album at one point in time last year. There is no way that many people like such a bad band. It just isn't possible.

I'm so elitist. Sorry.

The kid is talented, he actually writes, he got the right people to work with him, and he knows where his bread is buttered with the whole Michael Jackson thing.

Of course you can't respect it, but there's nothing wrong with liking it. . . . it's what pop is supposed to be.

HAHA THATS FUNNY biggrin

anyhoo, I didn't really read anyones posts, just the primary question by Chloe.
my roommate spent money on the CD. I heard her skip aorund on it, it basically sucks.
But I will let it be known and I don't care what anyone says, and I"m not ashamed,
I like the Cry me a River song.
I like the backround music, I think it's hilarious, it makes me laugh and sing, I guess that's all that's important confused
