I think Murs is the best MC going right now. Ever since I heard The End of the Beginning, I've been hooked. Good Music, Murs Rules the World, Varsity Blues, I could go on and on. When 3:16 came out, I was totally into it because his flows are great, but I was a little put off by some of the production. Yes, 9th is creative, but sometimes it just sounds a bit slick. Still a great album.
So I picked up Murray's Revenge a while ago and have listened to it a lot. Murs is great as always, and the production is what you would expect from 9th, but the album just felt like it was missing a little something. Maybe this is because I was so excited and had unreal expectations. Does anyone else feel this way?
