MUSIC: Details on Wilco Live Double-Album

A double-CD live album from Wilco, to be called Wilco Live and Dangerous Wilco At Budokan Tweedy Comes Alive Kicking Television - Live in Chicago, will be released November 1st, Pitchfork reveals. Whatever else you may say about Tweedy & Co., they put on a hell of a show, and this set chronicles performances from a four-night sold-out run at Chicago's Vic Theatre last may. It's also the first official live album from the band.

The band will be going out on tour to promote the album, and also plan a live DVD, details of which have not yet been released.

I think this is from the series of shows they asked fans not to tape?

Wilco is about as tape-friendly as you can get, so I couldn't figure out why they wouldn't allow taping at a series of Vic shows this year.

And as long as I'm not adding anything useful to the conversation: "Muzzle of Bees," live, is fucking incredible.
