Jennifer Lost the War

So I'm listening to my favorite song from Junior High, and I haven't heard this shit in years. Now I'm plagued with the question, "How the fuck did the Offspring get soooo bad?" Seriously, they were decent once. It seems like they just decided to keep outdoing themselves... but not in a good way.

Which brings me to my point. What bands did you once rock out to, that have just dropped off the cliff into shitsville since then?

I used to listen to my Korn tapes all day long. Korn s/t and Life is Peachy. Anything released after Life is Peachy has, in my opinion, gone from bad to worse.

For what they're worth -- Smash and Ignition aren't half bad. After that they just blew it.

I think "Jennifer lost the war" is the only offspring song I liked. I noticed that most of their songs seem to imitate other songs less-known artists put out years prior to the offspring release. I started to notice this when Offspring released "All I want" and it sounded quite similar to a Skunk Ananzi song released a few years prior.

Except, they didn't start putting out bad music so much as they always put out bad music and I never noticed.

Pearl Jam, they weren't my favorite band, they were fucken rockin back in the day, then, 'Last Kiss' what the fuck was up with that cover song, and then the whole Riot Act Album.

I have to agree with The Offspring and Korn losin the plot.

Yeah, but did you like them better with Daddy Longlegs, when they sucked, but were funny. Or now that it's just Jimmy, and they suck, but are kind of funny?

I fucking hate that cover.
