Anybody here like Rammstein? They've just come out with a new album, I've been a fan for years. If you do or don't know them, check out www.herzeleid.com , I moderate on the Rammstein Trading forum under the same username.
Oh don't worry, I got tickets! But I migh tno tbe able to use them. I'm returning to the US in the New Year, It's not certain whether I will be here or not in February.
By the way, I bought 2 tickets, so if I am still here in February, I will have a spare ticket. Who wants to come with me? Get friendly with me and I might let ya
I love Rammstein. The music tends to be really beautifully written and produced...though the lyrics are sometimes kind of silly. They're simple enough that I can understand most of them (after studying German for only one year) and they aren't always brilliant storylines. But yeah, amazing music.
I'm a big fan of Moskau, which if I remember right (though in my version they aren't credited) is supposed to be a duet between Rammstein and Tatu. But all in all, I love Rammstein for their simplicity, and their flat out boldness in terms of lyrics. Too many groups pussyfoot around certain topics, or don't even mention them, and Rammstein examines them in a beautiful lyrical skill.
P.S. Did anyone else pick up Lichtspielhaus? Its so great...all the rammstein music videos up to Mein Teil, as well as some really awesome concert and interview footage.
Ein Schrei wird zum Himmel fahren
Schneidet sich durch Engelsscharen
Vom Wolkendach fällt Federfleisch
auf meine Kindheit mit Gekreisch
The new Rammstein album is now in stores for most of Europe. Most planned releases will follow shortly, unless you're unlucky enough to find yourself in the USA or Canada. Both of these countries will have to wait until mid-November to see a local release
I preordered mine, and its pretty sweet. There's a bonus hidden in the negative seconds of the cd.
