Britney Spears??

No?

Seriously though, you should look at bands like Cradle of Filth, Sabbat, Candlemass and other metal bands. They tend to have some pretty 'spooky' songs.

What's the difference between an orchestra and a pop band?

none really, i just don't want to use a song that another metal band has out as an intro. i'd like to do something kind of original, if that is at all possiblr these days, or use a different style of music that the listener may not have been exposed to, but yet may find interesting.

Alright, I can appreciate widening other people's experience, but how is putting a sample from an orchestral score different from putting a sample from a metal song in there? Is metal more original than an orchestral score?

i just don't want to use a metal song as an intro to ANOTHER metal song, i don't want the track as the base for the song, just an interlude to what i already have recorded. i like to use horror movie tracks, or strong sounding classical to lead into a death/ grind metal type song, wich is what i'm mixing right now....... and as for the beat tracks for the hip hop stuff, i really like the sound of Necro's style, that's what i'm shooting for..more or less.
