Radiohead's Morning Bell. Which do you prefer, Kid A or Amnesiac version?

I prefer Amnesiac. It has a haunting quality to it.

Kid A, no doubt about it.

No offense, but Amnesiac always sounded (to me) like a batch of Kid A outtakes.

Personally, I think both albums have their merits, and they sound nothing like eachother. Pyramid Song, You And Whose Army, Knives Out, I Might Be Wrong, and Morning Bell are all superb tracks. You And Whose Army is by far the best track on that album.

I'm gonna go with door number 3 on this one, and say the version on the "I Might Be Wrong: Live Recordings" disc.

Like the song or not, its presence on all three albums gives you a proper perspective on how powerful the music is both as a whole and individually as songs. As much praise as Radiohead got for Kid A, it also recieved quite a bit of "...but could they pull it off live?" style critism. I like to think that song proves their point on that matter.

I like them both for different reasons. I also think that in the context of both albums it is a fitting song.
