I play the guitar in a couple bands.

I'm in a band (aren't we all) called Merrick 1862. We're an alt-metal band from good ol' blighty

I've been in a handful of short lived bands: I go back and forth between bass and guitar.

Freaky Flow (rock covers)
The Dity Teen All-stars (rock covers)
Hell Bent for Whiskey (Blues)
Fat Friend (poppy-type punk covers)

pretty much all of them sucked.

i play for fun/relaxation. I mess around with a little home studio set-up.

i play guitar for the greatest band that never was or will ever be... Trailer Park Heroes.. ha.. some day maybe... until then, just jam w/ my buddies, and record when i can...

i play percussion in a symphony orchestra and i play drums in a bagpipe band.

I play guitar and bass and some cello. I wish I was drummer but I'm just not that coordinated. I'd like to play piano to, but I'm too lazy.

Well, my standard reply is "I'm not a musician, but I'm in a band". I play synthesizer and run the lightshow for The Sleeze Band. (MP3s on the site)

I used to do the singing for a couple of bands, but I limit that to karaoke nights, now.

I play the violin and played in orchestras and also in several bands: a folkband, many bluegrass-, a grunge-, a weird countryband, a guitarpopband, and tomorrow I'll jam with a punk band.

i've been playing the bass for fifteen years. and, like all bass players, i play guitar in my spare time. i've been in three or four bands. starting something new today.. but with no desire to be famous.. just rich.

i played the trombone in high-school. haven't played it once since.

i don't think i have anything i can link to. oh, wait, i do.

this is an MP3 from a Metal band I was in years ago. it was on a local comp. we broke up. no big loss.

So is it true in all other parts of the world except the UK that bass players are actually really hard to find when putting a band together? 'Cause I've never been able to find any - problem solved now thankfully but generally a big hassle. Thoughts? P$

Punt and I play in a Rock and/or Roll foursome called Sloe. I do a little bit on the side when i'm bored here .

If I'm not mistaken, this looks like a haven for artists. It's no suprise that everyone on here is into music, art, expression.
