Emo?

Not to bash emo, but I think it's funny to say "Dude, you're so emo." It seems to piss people off. My friend and I were having a conversation about what is emo...I said Sunny Day Real Estate isn't emo, But my friend disagrees. Thoughts?


P.S. I argued that if sunny day was emo, than bright eyes was emo. This infuriated my friend.

I call people emo all the time. I think it's hilarious. Emo is the new gay. No one calls people gay any more, they're "emo".

Also, Sunny Day Real Estate is emo.

at work we have the "emo corner" that we send people jokingly when they get upset over something dumb.... and yes sunny day real estate is emo

Like I've said before, just call it all indie, because apparently people don't mind that as much.

My last girlfriend had a few conversations with him on the phone. She said he was really cool, except he brought the phone into the bathroom with him, at which point she hung up on him.

well my friend tom lived in the house conor used to live in, and i guess in the middle of a party, conor busts in, wine bottle in his hand (for himself) and he goes around and starts being a dick to everyone. at which point he was kicked out.

I made a shirt for my friend that said, I'm Emo kiss me before I cry...

i was "an emo" back in '97 its amazing how huge it is now. $20 says electro is the next runner up. Orange County is emo central

yeah it seems like now "emo" is being used to describe "slow and wussy" which is not really how it began at all. i think emo has become a stupid word that shouldnt be used to describe anything. just call someone a sissy and be done with it.

if Rites of Spring is emo... i guess i am too.
