Miss Courtney is saying that she would like to design clothes out of bits and pieces of other clothes (most of which she already has in her closet, from what I gather.) She's looking for design help and seamstresses so she can do this better than how she's seen it done before.

Adding in my two cents, I can't sew... never really payed much attention in home ec... unfortunately. But I think this is a really great idea, there aren't enough reasonably priced unique clothes out there. I'm thinking of all the cool possibilities in my head and they're coming out A LOT better than Molly Ringwald's famous pink dress. If you ever get to the point where you need a model, Courtney, count me in.

I hear Voltaire is an excellent seamstress... alters and makes(?) her own stage clothes. Veronica sews as well.

I try. I'm making this industrialized cartigan that instead of closing in the front with buttons, is cut off right by the arms in front, vertically, and instead has straps going across the front, held by big buckles. And I'm making victorianesque bloomers by altering some really nice soft pants I found at Goodwill (I love that place, I don't care what anyone says about it). Hopefully they will turn out the way I want them to!
