Bonnaroo

With the date closely approaching I was wondering if there were any other SGers out there going to Bonnaroo this summer? And if so which bands(s) are you most looking forward to seeing?

what exactly is it?

This massive festival in this small town. The locals pronounce it "Ver-sales'' instead of the 'right' way. Basically, they cook thousands of these DELICIOUS chicken dinners all weekend. There's a beauty pagent, called The Miss Chick Contest and a carnival. It's real awesome in a small town america kind of way.

To top it all off, there's a 65-team ultimate frisbee tournament which I'll be participating in.

Wow, that actually sounds kinda fun

I live 40 minutes from where the bonaroo fest is held and took us 3 1/2 hrs to get there the traffic was horrible needless to say im not going this year

I don't know if anyone is really interested in knowing this or not but the death toll for Bonnaroo is up to two so far.

I don't have any information on the first death but I heard the second one announced on local news earlier. Apparently it was due to the combination of excessive heat and drug use.
