it doesn't get much more embarassing than warrant coming to your town. not as of now anyway.

this new bar complex thing just opened up downtown, and 2 months ago, i got to see the violent femmes. not a bad start to a rejuvination of this dead town right? now in a week, it's fucking warrant. this is unexcuseable. bah!

they do indeed suck - they play the local fair every year, this gal I know had that record with the tongue sticking out and it scared the living hell out of me, at the time!

def leppard and motley crue were still pretty gay, but GNR rocked or at least Appetite For Destruction did. I'd even go so far as to say its one of the top ten rock albums of all time. And I'll stand by that opinion until the day I die.

Actually... on second thought, you might be right.

I kind of disagree -- I would put Guns N' Roses (and even LA Guns to an extent) in that mess of bands. They were way more influenced by the early Rolling Stones than the whole glam hair scene. They were just dirty rock n' roll bands.

You can't deny that Appetite for Destruction is a classic -- even the Use Your Illusion records had their moments. It wasn't until Axl got the guy who wears a bucket on his head in the band when he officially blew it.

I am curious to see what Velvet Revolver does in the coming months.
