gay indie/emo/alt/whatever?

ok this question is going to sound really shallow and stupid, but does anyone know any of such bands with a gay lead singer.
the other day i checked out onelinedrawing's new albumn "the volunteers" and heard the song 'oh boys' and got really excited...but later realized that it was more than likely a song from a girls point of view or whatnot.
i mean, in the grand scheam of things it really doesn't make one difference, i still love the song and the albumn, you know, music is music. but i would just like to hear a song that knows what it's like being in a similar situation, without some obnoxious techno beat in the background....something intellegently done.
if anyone knows anything by gay artists...besides placebo, since i already know of them.
you guys know your music something good!

and please, no "all emo's gay, duh! der-her!"

bob mould (of husker du, sugar, and extra cool solo stuff) has been the gayest of the gay for a long long time. finding out that he was singing all those songs about his SO and his SO was a man changed the way i think about gay people. When i was a wee teeney bopper, finding out my fav artist was gay forced me to basically accept all gay people as just the same as me, but with a liking for the guys on the playing field rather than the cheerleaders on the sidelines.
