I wanna be something spectacular
On the day the sun runs outta batteries
Attach my fashion to the casualties of anarchy
Save my nickels up to buy that homeless man a brand new horn
Then sit up on his crate as I witness the beauty born like this

amen.

Dispatch a task of infested patch of city goblins
Who split how many freaks with box cuts of a high road bellow
Heads ripped! Watch red bricks turn yellow
Sort of similar to most backbones at camp Icarus
Raw feelings start congregating at pamper for bickering
Life's not a bitch life its a beautiful woman
You only call her a bitch because she won't let you get that pussy
Maybe she didn't feel y'all shared any similar interests
Or maybe you're just an asshole who couldn't sweet talk the princess

GOD DAMN.......makes you wonder what all the other rappers ever think about.

Indeed.

The "Daylight" EP has not left my regular rotation since it came out.

The first time I went to see him with Mr. Lif and El-P in Florida he had a throat infection and didn't show up. But I made up for it seeing him play in Detroit a couple months ago with Mr. Lif, Murs and SA Smash

Aesop Rock, Sage Francis, and Buck65 changed my mind about hip hop. I use to abhore it (because I only heard the mainstream crap). Then heard those guys... and lurve it.

yeah... sometimes I'm ashamed to tell people how much I love hip-hop because of the bullshit they tend to associate with it.

Yeh, the whole def jux scene gets hated on, thats only as it has to be ackowledged so people are forced form opinions about it. I think Sage is a dope MC but i do get a bit sick of his self rightoussness, but then again who ever heard of a modest MC?
Its funny cos i know a lot of people who say i cant beleive you like hiphop its all crap , its all about money and guns and bitches, i gently break it to them that they dont listen to hiphip they listen to pop.

talk to me, i want to take you all under my broken wings.
