I've had "I Believe In A Thing Called Love" stuck in my head all day, and I keep getting the same image when I get to that one part:

What visual associations do you make with certain songs?

Pink Floyd, song High Hopes.
At the very end of the song, the sound of Gilmour's guitar solo, I imagine its the sound that a baby would here from inside their mothers womb as she screams and cries about something.

Beaker+Darkness makes me laugh
I still like Beaker better if given a choice who to listen to.

Mostly its songs I don't want to be listening to that cause my imagination to go haywire. There's this one shitty song that plays on the loudspeakers at my work, where the chorus is "breaking all the rules when we get together / anything at all are you ready to do / breaking all the rules we can run away / just me and you, whoa-o whoa" ...yeah, I've heard it so many times over the past year, I've practically memorized it.

But at any rate, since I work at a Petco, I always joked that I was picturing some Abercrombie model running through a park with their dog, who has no leash on, past a "All Dogs Must Have Leashes At All Times" sign during that chorus above.

Ugh, oh and whenever I hear shitty rap music I always get the ever-so-comforting image in my head of Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock and Chick Corea slowly closing in on said rapper, be they white or black, holding a noose

hmmmm pandemonium, I have a very similar counter defense to bad music too, though it usually involves modying the song lyrically.
Example theirs that one annoying Backstreetboy song where one of the more nasally singers goes into highpitch and sings: "Tell me why I can't be there were you are "I then add in the back up singing tones "Its called a restraining order" extending the "er" of order and its seemless with the song.
I guess it is a kind of a Weird Alish defense mechanism.

There's a part that I think is near the end of the 2nd track on Super Are by the Boredoms where I always picture the statue of liberty opening its mouth up and screaming.

Whenever I hear "When You Don't See Me" by Sisters of Mercy I picture him singing it to himself in a mirror. Damn egotists.
