i'm just bored. i think i once saw a thread supporting him months ago. so i ask you, Ryan Adams, anyone? i figure i'll just say it that i saw him in 2002 and was so upset he didn't do "firecracker" that i pissed on the balcony floor during the encore.

i really like his voice and the songs he writes, especially the more country leaning stuff. there is something about him that rubs people the wrong way though, and i was able to see it, but from what i hear he was too drunk to make it through songs, and wanted to do a bunch of solo stuff, which is nice, but a bad idea if you're already having trouble.

he is a disaster. when i saw him he was trying to play with a cigarette and stumbling around with a bottle of wine. it was inspiring.

Nobody Girl, Gonna Make You Love Me, Enemy Fire, Rescue Blues... ahh all excellent stuff.

Plus Steve Stills' kid plays bass. I'd be surprised if Ryan Adams hasnt worn out multiple vinyl copies of "Stephen Stills and Manassas."

He called Chad Kroeger a "Penis Sausage" in print, forget the publication. That's gotta count for something.

1. i see monsters
2. to be young
3. new york, new york.

i kinda like the fact hes a fuck up. makes a change from all these clean living mo fos. he sings the blues cos he IS the blues. biggrin

He almost won me over after I saw some program where he did all his songs acoustic. Then I heard parts of the album and it seemed a little too clean for his musical style. At this point I am indifferent.

Every time I see you post, DiamondGeezer, I envision James Brown drunk in his cell saying the same words. It's pee-in-your-pants-worthy at times.

I read he doesn't like it much when people kid him about his name and Bryan Adams. He loses it.

Ryan Adams is nothing but a bastard, horrible artist, and embarassment to the state of North Carolina.
