Today marks the release of Ben Folds' 2nd solo EP Sunny 16. With the first EP Speed Graphic already out and another one on the way in November, plus a full-length album next year, Ben is showing no signs of slowing down.

I felt it was time to give this pop-song writing piano virtuoso with a punk attitude the respect he so well deserves.

Give it up for Ben Folds, folks! biggrin

...Reinhold Messner was one of the last albums I bought that had an actual interesting cover-art/ liner notes/ concept going on (with the mentions in "Regrets" also continuing it).
"Don't Change Your Plans" and "Magic (written by the bass player) are two songs as pretty as you're gonna hear. Not to mention "Brick."

The new Ben Folds record is great, but I kind of wish he hadn't gone back to his Ben Folds Five sounding roots. I thought 'Rockin' the Suburbs' was so much more progressive.

I'm giving this shit a large bump, partially because Ben Folds is my fucking hero, and partially because I'm watching the Ben Folds & WASO: Live in Perth DVD, and I get excited every time I see me and my friends in the crowd.

I'd also like to state that "Adelaide" is the best song Ben's released in the past, say, five years (with "You To Thank" coming a close second).
