Is it me or does anyone else feel like they belong to a "happy" cult when they listen to this group?

They make me feel a bit violent when I hear em, its really brutal music if you just listen, hteres backwards satanic messages on their cd, you mark my words....

Yeah, they are fun live, especially seeing more people than Lambchop on stage.

Saw them in a masonic temple in Austin during SXSW a couple years ago...I remember thinking "Man...these guys are CRAZY and I LOVE it! too bad they're way too weird to make it big..."

Now they're on MTV and in VW commercials...once again proving that I have a tendency to underestimate the musical taste of the american public.

I wasn't really into it when I heard the album. But my roommate dragged me to see them live and it was an amazing show. The third best I've ever seen, right behind Godspeed You Black Emperor and Guided By Voices.

I have the album "beggining stages of...." by the Polyphonic spree.
I love the whole album until the very end were you listen to an hour of scratches.
As a rule I try to listen to every album the whole way through.
This album made the exception to my rule.
And to think I can sit through every Jesus Lizard Album, yet not Beggining stages of........
