Good stuff. I actually prefer 1/1, but I'll play along. It's kinda neat to think about how the synths of the time were not even all that great compared with what came both before and after, but what he did with them really holds up.

Have you heard No Pussyfooting, with Robert Fripp?

I haven't, heard it's good though. I just bought 'Ambient 2: Plateaux of Mirror' with Eno and Harold Budd. Really pretty stuff.

No Pussyfooting is great. A friend has it on LP and I've been hooked on it at various times. It's out of print but it's all on "The Essential Fripp & Eno" or whatever it's called, which is on my mental wishlist. I'd also like to hear Apollo. Maybe Ambient 2 should be on there too; I only have 1 and 4, and my sadly-departed copy of Another Green World.
