Apparently it is this guy:

He is a TV actor named Shane West and I read that the Germs have actually reformed with him as the lead singer. I am anxiously awaiting the reformed Nirvana with Doogie Howser on lead vocals.

I saw them about a year ago at Mr. T's Bowl when my friends aging punk band opened for them. I tried to convince them, unsuccessfully, to play the show in hospital scrubs. It was ridiculous.

Is Pat Smear in the band?

Seems the lead singer kills himself whenever Pat Smear is in the band - thus problem solved.
