Have a similar problem--and my home base(s) of Brooklyn and L.I./NY are supposedly "hot" right now music-scene wise. I know a ton of people in bands now too...they just either are not into the stuff I want to do, or are way busy with their own projects...

Ah, well.

Yo, Linz--maybe for now, write some songs for yourself, put them on tape and have them in reserve for later. Here's a site that I kinda dig for songwriting resources--it's a bit mainstream, but take what you can use from it.
