CELEB: "Grey's Anatomy:" Keep Them Hot and in Scrubs and We All Win

Breakout ABC hit show “Grey’s Anatomy” clinched the 18-49 year old demographic this past Sunday night with 22.3 million viewers tuning in to see the characters at Seattle Grace Hospital play dramatic. The airing managed to beat CBS’s finale of “Survivor: Panama” and final episodes of both NBC’s “West Wing” and Fox’s “Malcolm in the Middle.”

This clear champion of Sunday night is now poised to move to Thursday next season. With NBC’s “Will & Grace” having aired their final episode last night, there are big moves to be made in the race to fill that night’s demographic window. “Grey’s Anatomy” will move to 9pm, putting it head to head with CBS’s “CSI: Miami.”

I guess ABC is just confident that wherever Dr. McDreamy goes, the fan base will follow.

I've never seen Grey's Anatomy although everyone at work is obsessed. However, I do call my boss "Dr. McDreamy" now, much to his pleasure.
