Who can't wait for Halloween!

I love October and November. I love Halloween and Thanksgiving. I hate the summer. it's too damn hot and boring and all my shows are in reruns.

I have always loved Halloween. It is my favorite holiday. The only bad thing was that it meant snow was near. But now that I moved away from the snow, I can have the best Halloween ever!!!!

November's my favorite month. The twilights are so long -- peaceful 4:30pm grey that just stretches out into night. Also, sweaters. Also, pumpkin flavored beer. Also, holy fucking nostalgia attack. I call it Novembering.

Halloween one of my favorite holidays. I got boxes of fake legs, feet, arms, hands, severed heads, brains, and other organs in the garage. I make a haunted house every year. But I think I'm going to take this year off.

i love halloween!! scaring little kids is fun!!!

I've got my idea for my Halloween costume already. Halloween is so great with candy (did you see Candyass set today? whew...dress up AND candy...it was like halloween just this morning for me! ), and then there's the fetish ball, the clubbing, the parties, the music, the graves, the ghouls, the cheap slasher flicks, the zombie movies, the spiders and ghosts and goblins...and the vampire bites!

And to top it off it's the costume designer's Giftmas, when all the sweet fabrics go on sale....gonna get me some vinyl this year! Hell yeah!

Of course then comes the months of work for the costume I wear for 12 hours tops...I wish I could wear them all year. Sometimes I do pull them out for kicks.
The only thing I'm dreading is the p.i.t.a. i'm going to have making my boyfriend the costume he wants to coordinate with the costume I'm making for myself. But he'll look so hilarious in that dress!

halloween is the best, i usually don't dress up or anything but just for nostalgia's sake it's a great time. to me it's like there's just a buzz in the air. it's probably just because i love fall so much, october is easily my favorite month. the air is crisp and cool it's just comforting. this october is going to be really great too NIN concert and an sgb show i can't wait for autumn.

sums up my feelings exactly. I just love the atmosphere around that time of year. I love seeing all the halloween candy in stores and love hearing all the ads for haunted houses on the radio and seeing them on TV.

They have that in southern California... don't they?

As far as I'm concerned October is the only month, the rest of the year is just filler.

I love October...because the weather is still nice...and all the tourists have gone home.....wait...I mean...it's cold and miserable here in October. Nobody should bother coming here...that's how miserable October is here. Cold, wet, sad, dreary......yep...that's right.

I have a costume that's two years and nearly $300 in the making. When all's said and done it will probably cost about $500. I don't mess around when it comes to Halloween.
