Would you describe yoruself as a "light sleeper," easily awakened, lie in bed for more than 20 minutes before drifting off, get up several times a night, or a "heavy sleeper," fall asleep very quickly after getting into bed, sleep through the whole night, sleep through anything.

On a scale of 1 to 10 with 1 being very light, almost insomniac, and 10 being...they stole my bed and I never woke up....how would you rate yourself?

I'd say I'm about an 8.

It depends. Normally I can sleep like the dead. But my dog has this middle-of-the-night bark that can wake the dead. So...five.

I'd say I'm a 3 or 4 unless I've been drinking. Then I'm a 10.

A 2, maybe a 3.

I wake at my children's slightest sound, and often brood for long stretches before falling asleep.

Most days I wake long before the rest of my family, and pad around the living room as quietly as I can, watching the sun rise, perhaps reading, or clicking randomly around here looking to see if anything interesting is happening.

Even when I'm given the chance to sleep in, I rarely do. Which is too bad, because there are many times when work, cooking and cleaning for everyone, and struggling to meet my latest deadline can really take its toll.

I'm a terribly light sleeper, and an insomniac to boot. surreal
It is also not a good thing to startle me in my sleep. An ex was trying to surprise me and sneak into the bedroom. I was up and charged the door ready to drive my fist through whatever was on the other side before she got it compleatly open. I got very close befors it clicked that it was her.

This is a much better research project than, "measure your cock," right?

I figured you were trying to figure out who was a heavy sleeper, so you could slip into their rooms to "measure" their cocks.

I'm about a 3. If there are any distractions, I find it really hard to fall asleep, and when I finally do, I'm easily woken up.

I'm an 8 or 9 when I'm out. But if I don't follow a routine, I kick into insomnia mode very easily. I also need 8 hours.

Fie on your numerical system. It usually takes me hours to fall asleep, even if I'm tired, but after I'm out, I'll sleep through most anything... except for certain noises/stimulus. There could be fireworks going off in my ear canal and I wouldn't budge, but if someone says my name, or touches my skin, I'm up and alert. I am often completely baffled by my subconscious mind.

I'm about 2 or 3. It takes me more than an hour to fall asleep, often, and I then wake up multiple times per night. The ONLY way for me to fall asleep quickly (and, believe me, I've tested just about every other option in the world) is to have a drink or two so that I'm relaxed. Then, I wake up more often during the night and have more trouble falling back asleep once I wake up... so it's give/take.

5 or so. I'm a relatively heavy sleeper when I actually fall asleep, but it takes me a long time to get to sleep, about an hour unless I've been up a while beforehand.
