How many fake crappy replica swords do you own? I own 4, 1 super large fake Katana, 1 large fake pirate dagger, 1 fake pirate sword, and 1 fake civil war saber. Owning 4 fake replica swords makes me feel special, espcially when I am running around in my apartment in just my undies, swinging my swords while pretending to save the universe from evil.

I have come SO close to buying rapiers and daisho that I was literally at the phone with a credit card in hand, when the little damn voice of reason in my mind would pipe in: "Couldn't you use that money for something more *practical*?"

So I spent all my money on video games instead.

I think it's pretty standard for any household with a man and a computer to also have a sword laying around somewhere.

I work at a knife/sword store, so I know which ones are total ass and which ones aren't too bad.

The only thing I have at the moment, since I left my swords back in IL when I moved, is this years Kit Rae dagger.

I don't know about 'crappy fake replica' but I have the swords from Blade and the Highlander TV series. Both have sharpened steel blades, and I really wouldn't want either one swung at my head or crammed through my gutseeek

I've played with the blade sword at work a few times, and yes, for a replica the mofo is damn sharp.

Hell yeah, bro, I would not like that thing waved in my direction. That said, have you noticed how it's really only designed for a one handed grip, but just that
tiniest bit too heavy for using one handed? surreal

I believe you mean... Oh, hm, no, wait, you already humourously misspelled it. Nevermind.

I don't own any fake crappy replica swords. A katana is not a replica sword, it's a style. As such, I own a crappy katana. It's not a replica, and it's certainly not fake. It's just crappy, and not made damascus-style. Maybe that does make it an imitation.

Other than that, I would like to get a true damascus-made katana. A good one, though, is way out of my price range.

No crappy replicas, just one very real broadsword.

It was hand made/forged about six years ago by someone who is now dead but had at the time ran a company that called itself Highland Steele. Not sure if they even exist anymore.

I bought it directly from the man himself. I was short on cash so he offered to sell me his demo model which meant it was the one he used to break cinder blocks and other dealers crappy replica swords with.

You can stand on the blade of this thing and bend it nearly to the ground and it will bounce right back, that and all it takes to clean it is a little WD40.

If you ever see any of their work i suggest checking it out.

my friend was fuckin around with a "shitty" sword he had one time...and he jumped up and pretending to bring it down into somebody...like point straight down. problem is he brought it down into his own knee. fuckin idiot, my point is even shitty swords can fuck you up...so dont worry if youre sword isnt way expensive or nicely crafted...most people have no good defense against a sword.

Let's see. I have a windlass hand and a half. I wouldn't want to use it in a swordfight, more because I don't trust windlass than anything else. I have a very heavy curved fighting knife, maybe two feet taken all together, which I go for 20 bucks at a novelty store. It may be a cheap piece of crap, but if I had to pick a bladed weapon to have in a close fight, I'd take that thing. It's jagged, sharp, heavy, and so rigid I could pop it right through your guts or beat you to death with the blunt side. My third sword was a badly overbalanced viking style POS from India. I sawed about eight inches off the end to make what is basically a ridiculously short broadsword. It's fucking wicked, because though it has the same leght as a fighting dagger, it has the guard and blade size of a broadsword. I wouoldn't stab anyone with it, but I['d gladly beat them to death.

I'm really just waiting to have my own headline that reads "Man kills intruders with sword"

I was seriously thinking of buying a replica of Glamdring but I dunno whether the Noble Collection puts out crap and $295 is alot of money to fork over for crap. I'd rather just buy an I-Pod.
