Defend the Castle (Web Game)

Hehe.. I was playing that last week. At around level 25 (or even earlier maybe) it stops getting harder. In fact, I was getting through rounds without doing anything and still winning.

So.. there's some balance issues they need to work through.

It was really fun for an hour or so though.

Yeah once they introduce the suicide bombers it actually gets easier. A simple click on them and you can kill practically all the enemies without wasting magic or your own bombers. Eventually if you invest enough in archers and repairpeople you don't even have to do anything and you can just let it run on its own. It's good addictive fun until then though.

how long after buying an archery thingie do my guys start shooting the invaders, assuming that's even what happens?

Click on the (green?) flag that appears when you buy the archery thing. That will turn one of the converted invaders into an archer. If that isn't working, then you probably haven't converted any of the invaders. Make sure you get the...chapel (or whatever it was).. first. Then you can drag invaders and drop them (nicely) into your castle and they will become converts.

It's like a Jehovah's Witness dream machine.
