Ever tried sleeping in the car? Not the most comfortable thing to do, but it works in a pinch.

Go grab a tent and a sleeping bag or air-mattress and blankets and set yourself up at a campground. You'll enjoy the time away from everyone and everything. Maybe consider a portable space heater that doesn't require an AC outlet

I'd recommend a hostel, preferrably something associated with Hostelling International. They're awesome, and I'm in one right now laying in bed in Vancouver, BC. In the last few months I've also been at HI hostels in two other cities. Usually it's $20 or less per night, and it beats a random couch.
