Whoa that's a long time.

I think it's nice to mention that the SG chat room is hosted by a third party. Meaning that if you join chat before the outage and stay connected the whole time, you can still use part of SG during times of complete site outage. Of course people can join the chat room and then jump in their favorite group chat room so you don't have to be in the main in the event you're scared of it.

Obviously you won't be able to launch chat during the outage, but if you join during it, you're golden. So once you get connected, don't lose internet connection! Although opening 3 er 4 chat windows ahead of time can help to battle that (and you get more docks!), provided you're using a decently fast computer (meaning no netbooks.)

Oh one other thing! Phone chat! US (218) 548-8513 x429008 It's a US number so while there's no charge like a 1-900 number, toll charges would apply if you have them with your phone plan, as would international rates.

Although I think the site's about to go down so dunno that anyone will see this.

besides the chat problem, i still can't read any of my messages and almost every time i click on something in general, failure notice 404 appears...

are you guys still working on those issues as well?

I just trying posting this here and in the Maintenance thread but it wouldn't let me. Request failed. Trying again. And again. So I can't even post once without trouble.. let alone edit something.

All of the above. And if I go to suicidegirls.com without putting the n. before the url my browser freaks out and begins to flicker and won't load the site and then crashes.

at this point i suppose we would just like to know when things are expected to go back to normal. throw us a bone

but if you got troubles posting (as i do), just write your text, cut it, refresh the page you are on, paste your text and send.... it works like this for me for now.

but still. SG STAFF. wouldn't a short response be nice and at least don't let us hang in dark for so long?

I've been having trouble not only posting on pages but even accessing them. I've had on more than one occassion error codes or being directed to yahoo saying that the page can not be found. Its a bit frustrating lol Hope everything gets fixed soon. also the new listing for suicidegirls as n.suicidegirls is throwing me off bad cause i had all my favorite groups set up in my browser where all i had to do was type ... say Hockey for the hockey group and BOOM it was the first link that came up and now i have to either edit the link or look for the new one... not sure if that is a permanent thing or what but it is a bit frustrating.

No friends blogs in my sg feed and every time I go to read a blog I am thrown to a 404. I know it's to do with the site maint but I thought you guys should know.. also when do you reckon it might be fixed?

I am going to post this with one attempt, to suggest that maybe some people's issues are merely internet connection, and computer abilities. Yes chat is still down. Userplane sucks... And just think, maybe they're pulling an overhaul on it, adding dock space? who knows. Quit looking at the glass as half empty. There's my two cents.

...still buggy...no message access, etc. lots of 404 when I click on anyone's blog...and no, it's not my internet connection unless it hates SG and loves Pandora/Netflix which are both running full tilt...
