Maybe this is old news. Regardless I now use it all the time.
For URLs Just write out your post like you normally would. Then copy the URL you would like to post and select/highlight the text you would like to make into a link. And click the URL button. Paste your address there and hit okay. SG will automatically make those selected words into the link you just pasted.
So are there any other little tips or tricks you guys use here on SG? I can't imagine that was the only one.
To get a list of all your bookmarked profiles and friends, go to your private message inbox and click on Compose Message. You'll see thumbnail pictures of your peeps, and each one will be captioned either "bookmarked" or "friend". (If someone is bookmarked *and* your friend, they'll be listed twice.)
Thank you for showing me this! It has been bugging me for years that I had to put links into SG backwards from how I do it on the rest of the internet.
