Anybody else noticing this "airbrushed" look creeping into the photosets lately? (I put it in quotation marks because I know it's just a few clicks in Photoshop). If you've ever seen Maxim or FHM, they always sand away any and all skin texture, so the girls shine and glow like they're made out of porcelain.
Seems like every other set these days gets the FHM treatment... maybe some people find that sexier. I just hope it's not becoming the standard.
I agree to an extent, but I don't think things have gone too pear-shaped just yet. I mean, I can look into one of the countless men's magazines sitting on the shelf at a local convenience store and I still won't know what the women look like partially naked, because whatever's been done to the pictures turns them into wax representations of celebrities. I'm not seeing that here, yet, and I hope I don't.
I don't think it's a recent thing and it's not happening to all the photosets. Some sets really have been photoshopped a lot but there are also photosets that only have lighting correction.
I can't even tell the difference between the raw images and the final images of my upcoming set.
It's easy to be glib when you're the one getting pandered to.
This site apparently listens to is customers - at least on occasion, so I feel no guilt in expressing my opinions and I feel even less guilt in hoping that in the future sets might occasionally match those preferences.
"Professionally" and "heavily altered" are not synonymous and I feel equating quality with overprocessing is negatively affecting the overall quality of the pictures on the site. Disagree if you want, but lay off the dismissive bullshit.

Who says I'm getting pandered to? Maybe I hate the "new way of photographing SG's" as much as this guy does. And the day YOU lay off sweeping generalizations is the day I lay off the dismissive bullshit.*
I think that what matters is if it's how the models want to be photoshopped. As far as I know, staff is very open to hearing girls requests and preferences

Dude, are you missing the irony here? You're talking about girls who are, in many cases, tattooed from head to toe, pierced all over the place, may have purple hair and take photos of themselves in any number of strange and provocative positions, poses and settings. And you're complaining about a little Photoshopping?

The short answer is "yes". Of course, that might just be dismissive of me to say.

It's so hot when you're dismissive.
Are you two sitting right next to each other posting this shit?
