What are you pissed about? Someone broke the law and expected to get away with it without any consequences.

I'd be pissed if one of my friends turned me in for speeding.

Fair enough, I guess. But it's not like you didn't know the speed limit was there and that there was fine for speeding. If you know the rules and you break them, accept the consequences. Shit, it's not like these kids are even being charged by the "real" police; these are campus cops. Most of them get a ticket - which is less than a minor in possession fine here in Boulder - and it gets put on their student record. Of course, it takes three tickets to get suspended. And even if they do get charged, it's a class 3 misdemeanor - the equivalent of littering.

I'm not arguing whether or not pot should be illegal; I'm just saying that all of these idiots running around on Farrand Field behaving like complete asshats should face some consequences.

Disclaimer: I am biased. I personally don't smoke. Anything. So it's pretty fucking annoying for me every year on 4.20 when I go to class to have walk through a haze of pot smoke. And no, I didn't turn in any of these idiots.
