this is a friend of a friend. she posted it on myspace and i felt like a larger community should know. help find him so he can't do it again.

If nobody knows at the Dervish, check Aunt Tiki's. It's on the next block (between Gov. Nichols and Barracks on Decatur) they're all part of that same incestuous group of 'freaks.' I don't know who he is, but he does look familiar. I'm gonna do some research...

They know who he is -- his name is under the picture.

It's where he is now that should be of concern.

I'm already Keeping my eyes peeled up here in Boston. I expect he's probably west bound....toward Texas perhaps. But, he shows up in my path, well.....I'm sure NOPD won't much care if he falls down some stairs before extradition back to LA

Yeah... the police. Then the trial. And then when he is in prison, we send stuff in there to let the other inmates know what he did. And then the prison rapings may make him think that was mabey not a bad idea... but one of the worst ideas EVER.

I'm sorry, do any of us know either of these two people personally? I'm not saying she's lying about who beat her up, but it isn't entirely out of the question either. And I'm not sure a myspace bulletin is exactly the type of proof that I need to go hunt down some stranger. Without knowing either of them, it's hard to know.

Don't misunderstand me -- I absolutely hate domestic violence. My mom suffered at the hands of my dad for years, and I think it's the lowest form of life, someone who abuses their power over another. But this vigilantism that is being implied in this thread is kind of disconcerting. I hope if you do see him, you call the police and let them handle it. And I hope the girl is okay. And if the guy is in fact guilty of this, then feed him to the wolves for all I care, but not until then... jesus!

really. the hope here is that someone sees this and finds this fuck. i kind of hope the girl might see it and see there's some good out there.

Whether I read it or not won't change my point. To be honest, I don't want to read it. Like I said, any form of abuse greatly saddens me. I saw the pic -- that's all that I need to know. If you're asking me do I believe she was assaulted - obviously. Do I believe it was that guy? In most likelihood, yes. If he is guilty, do I believe he deserves the harshest punishment, absolutely.

What I don't like is this rush to vigilantism. It's all too easy to post a pic and write something on the internet these days, that these things need to be taken with a bit more thought than just relying on someone's blog to incite a mass retaliation. At the same time, the internet is great because we can use the medium to get the information out there quickly and to a lot of people. I just fear that there's far too many equally agressive guys out there who want to be the hero. And until we (people who don't know either of these people personally) have the facts, we should leave it up to the people who deal with this stuff everyday to handle it (i.e. the police, legal system, hospitals, etc.). But by all means, if we see this guy, contact the authorities, let them know where he is -- that is your duty. But kicking his ass if you see him on the street -- not your duty, not yet anyway.

Again, my heart goes out to this girl.

i agree that tyhe best idea is to call the po's, make them do a job worth doing. these threats from the members are most likely empty and just a reaction as an attempt to deal with the idea that some dickwad would do this to a sweet girl. i don't know her personally, but she's a good friend of someone i care for, and that's enough to make me nuts.

i dont support violence even as a deserved retaliation. i'm a pacifist. i just put this up so that more people would have their eyes open. we need as many people as we can looking for this sad s.o.b.

I wish I could help but aside from leaving shitty messages on his myspace and messages of support on hers I'm useless.
