my hatred of bush and his cronies grows exponentially with each day..
That's just not healthy.
Also, it fits in with our secret Neocon plans.
Yes - not all these conspiracy theories are antisemetic paranoia!
I'm going to seriously piss off my fellow lizardoids by revealing our secret straegy - so help me Condi!
Here's the thing.
Being contorted with 24/7 Bush-rage, won't actually allow Planet Earth to go back in time to before the election (and even if it did, the result would be the same).
Concentrating on Bush only makes Libs look like rabid single-issue extremists and if that didn't work last election (when Bush was standing) it sure as shit won't work during the next election (when he isn't).
If he there was any way he could be impeached, the Democrats would have tried it.
Bush-rage is brilliant....for us. It's wonderous to behold the sight of Liberals chasing their tails with such futile obsessions.
We'd only really be worried if Libs were to say "fuck it - we've got Bush for another 3 years - lets stop moping, stop moaning, stop fighting a war that was lost last November and lets start concentrate on making ourselves look sane and electable".
i.e. they need to do EXACTLY what Tony Blair did with the Labour Party to break the stranglehold that the Conservatives had held since Thatcher was elected in 1979.
It would have suited John Major (the frankly shit Tory incumbant) no end, had the Labour Party still been possesed by an all-consuming hatred of Thatcher.
Instead, they got wise, became more sensible and moderate, dropped the militant Trotskyite shite and got into office.
Let's hope the Democratic Party and its lib activists don't have the same realisation.

Not that you would know this, not being a citizen of this country, but our democracy has this wonderful thing called a written constitution that provides from the removal of our president
yeah - I remember it from when Clinton was threatened with impeachment.
For getting his dick sucked by an intern. Yeah, that series of blowjobs was a grave threat to our republic, but somehow we managed to weather it. Bad example, dude.
wow - you can get impeached for getting your dick sucked?
imagine if he'd given her one up the "Gary"
I thought the proceedings were brought because he knowingly lied to senate or something
You thought wrong. And actually, to be more accurate the "getting his dick sucked" thing was just the vehicle they used - the real reason that Clinton was impeached was because he committed the hign crime of governing while not a Republican. Nevermind that he was a far more effective president than any Repug who has held the office since Teddy Roosevelt.
From where I'm sitting, the closest thing you have to any sort of working familiarity with my country's political system is your astute grasp of how to lodge your nose between Bush's asscheeks.
Abuse? OMG - I haven't got you on the ropes that early have I?
On the ropes? Given your complete absence of even a rudimentary understanding of what you're talking about, how did you reach that conclusion?
If there were any genuine grounds (rather than sad conspiracy theories) the Democrats would be taking legal and political action to initiate impeachment proceedings.
They would be making loud official statements about it on their website.
You mean like this one, which you would have found had you actually searched the web site itself?
You know - I'm tempted to give up and admit defeat now. In Britain the Toledo Blade is regarded in higher esteem than even the BBC. It's our first port of call for all world news and if the Blade are saying it, I'm tempted to think it MUST be true.
However, I'll struggle on and just say this...
BWAHAHAHAHA
Do really think linking to an article to the same thing as an official Democratic Party statement alleging Bush had comitted electoral fraud and calling for his impeachment.
I linked to two articles, one of which you snipped, both of which contained statements from Howard Dean, the chairman of the Democratic party. I'm not sure how much more official you can get than that. And since it isn't necessary to call for the president's impeachment to acknowledge that there was something fundamentally wrong with the way he assumed office, your "point" in that regard is moot.
Same with the woolly snippits on the other page - there were accusations of dirty tricks on both sides, remember.
Yeah, the Republicans are really good at making empty accusations and telling lies in order to create the illusion of a dichotomy of wrongdoing. And since they essentially control the corporate media in this country, their bullshit isn't given the effective debunking it merits.
Not the same thing as having something concrete enough to cause the Dems to even mumble about impeachment.
You really are naive, aren't you? The Dems could have pictures of Bush personally shredding ballots, and it wouldn't change the fact that the Repugs control both houses of Congress and wouldn't allow impeachment to go forward.
No, they didn't initiate impeachment proceedings, which would have been difficult in any event since they didn't have a congressional majority to push the issue like the Republicans did when they had their panties in a wad about Clinton's sex life. They could have said and done more, sure.
I don't buy it at all.
You don't have to buy it. Hell, you can belive that the earth is flat, if you want to. In fact, given that you're a Bushbot, you probably already do.
If they had proof they would come forward with it - majority or not.
I may not be American, but surely this is common sense.
John Kerry had plenty of proof that he earned the medals he got during the Vietnam War, and he didn't come forward with it because, like most of the Democratic leadership, he was too much of a political coward to do so. And he wouldn't have even had to deal with a hostile Republican Congress to do so. You don't have to be an American to have the minimal common sense required to figure out that people who make statements like "I voted for the $87 billion before I voted against it" aren't going to stick their necks out for something as incendiary as the allegation that the Repugs were committing electoral fraud, support or otherwise.
I know Libs are a patriotic bunch and loathed to criticise their president (regardless of his affiliation), but surely that would be too good an opportunity for them to miss
Patriotism has nothing to do with refraining from criticizing your political leadership. Being critical of a bad president, like the one we have right now, is one of the most patriotic things a person can do short of putting their life on the line. Of course, you have to have the balls to do it, and if you don't it ain't gonna happen. The sinmple truth is that the Dems don't hav the balls to stick up for themselves, and the Repugs do. The Repugs will tell any lie, no matter how obviously false, to cover for themselves, and attack any critic, no matter how low they have to sink, who challenges them on anything. That's why they are blaming dead poor people for not magically teleporting themselves out of New Orleans, and blaming state and local officials for not doing in one day what the Feds haven't been able to pull off in nearly a week, and blaming anyone and everyone they can think of, no matter how absurd and implausible, to defend their complete and absolute failure to get the job done in dealing with Hurricane Katrina.

Again, Clinton was impeached because the Republicans couldn't handle the fact that he was president. It's why they launched the Whitewater probe, also known as the most expensive fishing expedition in American history. It's why, when they didn't find anything related to Whitewater that they could use against him, or any of the innumerable other bullshit charges they floated hoping something would stick, they redirected the Whitewater probe towards something that was completely foreign to its intended scope and purpose and began investigating his private sex life. It's why they got their political kneecapper Kenneth Starr to generate the pornographic Starr Report in order to try and embarass Clinton. It's why they latched desperately onto the fact that Clinton lied in response to non-material questions asked during a purely politically motivated lawsuit that should never been allowed to go forward, and from that tried to extrapolate some sort of Watergate-style megascandal, hoping that after they pulled off the impeachment articles, which they had the votes for in the House, they would damage the Dems enough to gain the seats they needed to remove Clinton from office in the Senate after the midterm elections. Of course, their plan wildly backfired, because Clinton actually became more popular as a result of the politically motivated attempt at removal. So a few years later, they did the next best thing, and got George Bush's brother, the governor of Florida, and his state campaign manager, who oversaw Florida's elections, to steal the states electoral votes for him in the 2000 election cycle.
One more time, just so we're clear. Clinton was impeached because the Republicans couldn't handle the fact that he was president. Nothing more, nothing less.

He got off lucky - Kennedy was shot.
True, that. Of course, he was smart enough not to ride through downtown Dallas in an open convertible...
