Wonder why this thread did not come up in a search for "gas?"

I saw on the news last night that due to shortages, some gas stations in Atlanta GA were charging over $6.00 a gallon. The administration says it is investigating price gouging, but will not impose a price cap. If $6 per gallon is not price gouging and does not warrent a price cap, who knows where it will possibly end. If it wants to help ease prices, how about a temporary halt to state/federal tax on gas? That would be about 70 cents a gallon in TN.

I filled up yesterday morning in Knoxville TN at 2.69. This morning it was 3.09. I'm betting 3.29 by the weekend.

Yesterday I decided to get some because I was low and I heard it was going up. I got to the pump and it was 2.99 but they were in the process of raising it, I got in just under the wire. So I ended up filling up. $65 and I'm "happy" because I didn't pay the 10 cent higher price. FUCK!!

When I left the gas station it was 3.09. I went to Ikea and the fabric store and came home and they had raised it to 3.19

that is a real jackass thing to say.
do you buy food and clothes?
it get's shipped there in trucks that burn diesel and gas.
do you use public transportation?
your fares are going to go up.
do you use anything made of plastic?
it's madse with petroleum by products.
you will feel the burn too, later.

doesn't do you any good to reap it if you can't get it to market before it spoils.
