..."The Libertarian National-Socialist Green Party"?

They were saying on the news that that kid that shot up his school the other day really dug them.

But...I don't get it? "Libertarian...Socialist"; "National-Socialist [Nazi] Green Party".

Oh, and btw...their Nazi's, but they let minorities join, too? confused

I'm not providing a link to their website, because frankly, it was phychoatic, and I'm not interested in helping them spread their message...at all. But I will say that what it said didn't make a whole of sense (obviously). Can somebody with a better understanding of the pyschology of race and class relations than I have attempt to explain this to me? I mean, like...how, in a socio-pyschological sort of way..."whyabsolutely self contradictory things this can be so imporatnt to people?", I guess...

Confused anarchists. El Primo anarachist describes himself as a "libertarian socialist", which is a contradiction in terms. Like saying you're an egalitarian racist.

Wow. I can see why real Libertarians would be a little miffed by groups like that taking on the moniker.

Welcome to the modern face of the American "Movement." There's been a shift in this direction over the last decade or so... moving toward a position that's more academic and embraces racially-segregated communities but plays down the overt hate rhetoric embraced by older groups like the Creativity Movement (aka World Church of the Creator).* This started with sites like Yggdrasil's White Nationalist library and expanded with groups like the now disbanded White Order of Thule (one of the founding members of WOT was Peter Georgacarakos, a former member of Bruder Schweigen).

The libertarian connection tends to come in as a justification for separatism, this being framed as an aspect of self-determination and individual liberties, and the elimination of undesirables under the guise of advocating individual responsibility as opposed to social safety nets.

As far as the National Socialist and Green connections, those usually come down to the "Blood and Soil"** theory -- that the welfare of the racial group is inextricably connected with spiritual and genetic connections to the land on which they live, and the events that took place on that land.

Some of this stuff is related to a number of groups involved in the "Traditional Satanist" (their label) vein in Europe, including the Order of Nine Angles, Ordo Sinistra Vivendi (former Order of the Left Hand Path), Black Order, etc. with the ONA being the primary influence. They manifestly advocated National Socialism as a modern form of heresy along with advocating terrorism as a valid means of political action. Back in 1998/99 there was an attempt to set up an ONA cell in Texas -- possibly what was referred to as "Temple 88" -- but I don't know how successful it was; that was connected to the old satanism.net/nasz-dom.net site and its associated publishing company, run by a guy who went by the name Vilnius Thornian. The WOT also had some connections with these groups in terms of the source material it used originally.

Generally speaking, though, groups like the one involved here are a hybrid of these sources and the older American movement. The increasing political aspect of the ONA -- the only surviving group in that list AFAIK -- caused other "racialist" groups in Europe to do purges of their more radical members and explicitly exclude themselves from political involvement. The Circle of Jormungandr is probably the best example.

Probably the biggest consistent influence on these groups is the National Vanguard/National Alliance. The Christian Identity movement is still influential, too, but has more impact on the older groups than the newer ones (which tend to have more Odinist and generally pagan leanings).

Note: I can't provide documentation or links for most of this since it came from research, personal connections and correspondence, etc. that I've done and made over the years.
