Next time you're driving up the East coast, make sure to pull up your pants when you enter Virginia.

The Virginia house voted 60-34 to outlaw sagging your pants. Yes, you read that correctly: the Virginia House is on it's way to outlawing a fashion.

The Virginia state house has voted to outlaw the trend of wearing trousers so low that underwear hangs over the top.

Delegates said the habit, popular across the US and in other Western countries, was "coarsening" society.

The bill is being accused of being anti-black. Delegate Lionell Spruill points out:

"This is going to be a bill that targets blacks. You know who they are going to stop"

It's this voter's opinion that it is not the government's place to outlaw fashions that they just don't like.

The bill still has to pass the senate.

I remember teachers yelling at us to pull up pur pants 12 years ago. They seem kind of late on this one if you ask me.

Jesus, there's already high schools who send girls home if a teacher sees a hint of a bra strap. What's next? Not being able to show a little T-back, or maybe even outlawing the display of ankles again?

There has to be SOME issue that ranks in importance here, when they're spending tax $ doing this.

Want to hear something funny? Republican talking head Rich Galen has come out against this legislation.

Want to hear something hilarious?
The sponsoring legislator was a Democrat.

Well, at least the Virginia senate has some sense. You know that all the Britney wannabe white girls with their thongs/cracks showing knew they would never have any hassles from the VA police.
