Design Barcode, Inc. has developed unique and stylish barcodes which take the bars beyond the block. Transforming the rectangle of various line widths into surfers riding waves, cheese dripping from pizza, grand pianos, etc. seems reminiscent of work done on the streets by the stencil community over the years, though these barcodes are to aid consumerism instead of speak out against it. The first functional piece of barcode art will appear on popular bottled green tea products in Japan.

Thats lame. If that bar code is readable, then it would be readable without the upper 80%. I see this going no where
