My apologies go out to his friends and family.

Eventhough i never met or talked to him, he's infantry just like me. Brothers by choice not by blood.

Infantry never die, we are the queen of battle defenders of freedom for 200 years. Thankfully he went with his fellow brothers, and hopefully in time his family will find solace in the fact that he will live on in more than the memories of his family and friends, but in the hearts and minds of every infantryman.

My sincere reguards to his family and loved ones.

Fort Benning, and Sand Hill will not forget his sacrifice.

-Follow Me.

Perhaps the staff could give his memory a permanent place on this site and never let his membership expire or go grey...like they did when Lachrimose was tragically killed.

RENDEZVOU WITH DESTNY

Thank you for you unwavering dedication, commitment and courage...

When your country called you stepped up..
You left your family, your friends and your heart behind...

You made the ultimate sacrifice that many will never understand, and there are no words to adequalely express our gratitude..
Most of us can go through our whole lives and don't really accomplish anything, and some live to be 24 and are heros...

HOO AH ! I SALUTE YOU

We must evolve beyond war.

Death..is nothing at all.
I have only slipped away into the next room.
I am I, and you are you.
Whatever we were to each other, that we still are.
Call me by my old familiar name,
speak to me in the easy way which you always used.
Put no difference in your tone,
wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow.
Laugh as we always laughed
at the little jokes we enjoyed together.
Pray, smile, think of me, pray for me.
let it be spoken without effect,
without the trace of a shadow on it.
Life means all that it ever meant.
It is the same as it ever was;
there is unbroken continuity.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight ?

I am waiting for you,
for an interval,
somewhere very near,
just round the corner.

All is well.

RIP wolfmoon 98
and much love
