I saw videos of people standing on the beach waiting for it-- they're dead.
Yeah, it's a bummer you couldn't make it too.

Over 150,000 people died from smoking last year.

Did you give them a 2nd thought?

A new person is being born every minute and one dying just as fast, do you care about each and every one of them?

If you spend your life greiving over people you arent living...

If you surf 30 foot tsunami's.... thats living biggrin

Smoking til your lungs are black and getting ripped apart by a giant wave are 2 very different things.

One will kill you slowly over the course of years causing your every minute to be agony and pain.

One will knock you out and youll drown before you knew what hit you.

Hmm, so they are.

I am very sorry.

I donated 200 to red cross cuz I think it sucks for them. Thats my food money for next 2 months.

I still think it would be cool to see someone surf a wave that big.

Never said their deaths werent tragic.

Just saying it is also tragic no one surfed the wave.

Why must there only be one sad thing from this.

However you did say that the most tragic part was that no one surfed it. This is a really pathetic and sick ploy for attention.

Hijack attempt because this thread is sad -- but was constantly amazes me is all these stories I'm reading where many of the people who lived only did so because they were scuba diving -- and saw the huge waves pass over their heads. If that's not motivation to change your life, I don't know what is.

It's a sad time in the world. frown
