I cant get experts to say anything I want if I find the right ones. There are experts with PHD's that believe people can control your mind with chicken bones. You should see some of the cases in court with "credible" authorities on subject X

The plane wasnt shot down according to TONS of FAA officals who work crash sites. This is to include Search and Rescue people, Civil Air Patrol officials, crash investigators etc. Sure one or two probably believe that, but its all about conspercies.

If something hit that aircraft the debrie field would be over a huge distance, its not. You cant shoot something down with out debire. I should show you what a SA-7 (dinky ground to Air anti chopper missle) does to a MD11. The pilot landed infront of me and I'll tell you what that little charge did some damage. I also was there for a C17, and a C5 getting hit. This was not a missle strike, but dont take my uneducated and scientific observation look at all the educated people that have already disregarded this.

Yeah, I know that there was some propaganda value in having the image of these hero passengers rise up and overthrow the hijackers, but that really did happen, and I don't think that, given what else happened that day, the admission that the plane was shot down would be cause the administration any trouble.

um.

stating ", but that really did happen," is sort of missing the point.

of -course- if we accept the official story as fact we are able to dismiss any other story.

personally, i withhold judgement. i wasn't there. i didn't see it.
and because i wasn't there and didn't see it, i'm only going to get two kinds of reports:
1) officially sanctioned reports
and
2) unofficial reports that, if they conflict with the official report, will be quickly denounced as conspiracy theory

'experts' will chime in on both sides... and plenty of people would have reason to lie (or subconsciously allow themselves to be decieved in a way such that they think they're telling the truth) for either side.

personally, i just look at the two major cases on the table:
1) a bunch of passengers managed to force the crashing of a plane.
or
2) a plane that the US had known was hijacked was brought down before it could hit a target.

i know my guess.

but it's just a guess. it's just me creating the world around me, just as every belief you hold is just you creating the world around you. nobody is ever right or wrong... many just think they are (right).

Why conceal it if the plane was shot down? Yeah, I know that there was some propaganda value in having the image of these hero passengers rise up and overthrow the hijackers, but that really did happen, and I don't think that, given what else happened that day, the admission that the plane was shot down would be cause the administration any trouble.

didn't people want the other planes to be shot down? there's been a lot of talk about whether or not fighter jets were scrambled in time to save the world trade center. well, it seems to me that their only option would have been to shoot down the other flights, had they arrived in time.

unless there's some secret government tractor beam that i'm not aware of.

Plus, if you remember the confusion from that morning, at one point people were running around screaming about how there were supposedly another 6 or so hijacked planes still in the air. People were shitting bricks because of that, no matter that we found out later it wasn't true.

And this is why the conspiracy theory fails to me; what's the point? I can see why you'd want to hide the fact that you whacked JFK. Why hide this?

There's a difference between being skeptical of the government and just having a knee-jerk refusal to believe anything they say.

Why make Jessica Lynch a hero? American history mythologizes heroes - sometimes because they were heroic, sometimes because it suits the national purpose.

9/11 was an understandably traumatic time for Americans; I'm not convinced that the public was ready for a story about how an F-16 blew several hundred Americans out of the sky in order to prevent a bigger catastrophe. If it happened, I'm sure that the administration felt that it was in the nations best interest to spin the events - as opposed to a deep dark conspiracy.

I never get these conspiracy theory jerkoffs - I got collared by a journalist once who told me Mossad was behind 9-11. I said "yeah - and Elvis was flying the plane" What an asshole!
