I have to agree. Austin is pretty liberal and we love diversity. A slogan you see often here is, "Keep Austin Weird". It takes all kinds and we have them all!!!

My impression was that Austin was something of an island in a sea of right-wing, bigger-than-thou shitkicking. That said, Austin is a great place even if the rest of the state is terrifying.


Austin is great. Why don't you try experiencing something for yourself before spewing your half-assed opinion. Not that there is anything wrong with living vicariously through others. Lame.
