Bush just took Alaska. 3 more electoral votes.

That means that the best that Kerry can hope for is a tie which would give Bush the presidency in the congress.

Yep. Old people over 65 and Protestant Christians which congregate every Sunday have rallied in larger numbers than those of us who don't.

I find the 65+ thing particularly sad.

There's still like a speck of hope for Kerry.

Most of the precincts in Ohio are in urban areas (Columbus, Akron, Cleveland, Teledo) so keep your fingers crossed. robot

Checkmate.

No more of this "Bush was selected, not elected!" and "He stole the presidency from us!" bullshit, please.

Take a hard look at your politics and figure out why you were so painfully rejected by the American people. Get with the team and come in for the big win against Islamofascism. America is not the problem.

It's sad that so many people think the world is coming to an end if Bush is re-elected. Hey, we're still here after 4 years right? I'm not going to say anything about the whole war issue that most people are basing their opinions on... but what about the other things that he handled fairly well, even if he isn't the most intelligent man on earth? Other presidents have had terrorist attacks, or shuttle disasters, or international incidents, or wars occur during their terms...Bush had them all (and I don't mean he CAUSED them all, I mean they happened while he was in office)
Funny thing is, if Kerry won the same people would probably be saying the same things about him in 4 years. Always seems to happen.
Should Kerry win? Should Bush win? I don't care, we're screwed in a different manner either way.....I voted for Dole.

I'd beg to differ. I'm 24, and this is the first election of any kind that I've voted in. Same for my three friends who voted with me today, who are 19, 24, and 30. The youth vote came to have it's voice heard, only thing is, young people don't all think, and act the same as some would have you think. Young Conservatives live on.
