That was nice of him to do that for us.

When Elton John was having trouble with his accountant a story ran saying EJ had spent $200,000 (two hundred thousand dollars) on flowers in a twenty month period.

He had a hard time living that down, and it was only much later that he admitted that he'd lied about the cost of the flowers because he had spent so much money buying coke.

Still, that's not as good as Freddie Murcury who had a party with waitresses wearing nothing but body paint and dwarves carrying bowls of cocaine on their heads.
