The article says peacefully in his sleep of natural causes. That's kind of a rip off. Oh well, at least he's dead.
Not really a bad thing. A violent death at the hands of those agains him would have, as previously stated, made a sort of martyr of him. It's better he died quietly so no one could use his death as a rallying point.
Unless of course he died whilst being raped by a herd of syphillitic yak... That would have been nice.
