I'm perfectly open to alternate explanations for certain events, and I never simply blindly believe anything anyone tells me unless I can see some real evidence, which goes for the government, the media, and public sources alike.
That said, if it was a missile (which is exactly what the makers of the film want you to believe, with a half dozen quotes displayed quickly one after another saying "it sounded like a missile" and "it went 'whooosh' like a missile"), then what the fuck is this a picture of?

An excerpt from the Casseopaea.org article that's mentioned in the flash presentation, and from which some of the ideas seem to be drawn, might be worth noting:
The above author has obviously not read the mountain of evidence detailing the multi-millenial evidence of this conspiracy. At the ultimate level, humans are NOT the masterminds, we can assure you. And it is absurd to assign the motive to a perception of a "moral duty," or even a "logical approach to managing world affairs." That is nonsense in the face of the FACTS.
No indeed, there is an altogether DIFFERENT AGENDA being manifested here.
In our article Something Wicked This Way Comes, we suggest that there IS a schedule that is driving the Global Elite, with their puppet George Bush in the driver's seat. Our Adventures Series goes into many of the details that we uncovered by tracking the clues which suggest what the Coming Event is, and what the plans of the Global Elite are regarding same. It seems fairly obvious at this moment in time that something has signalled the Secret State that it is time to move on this, and they will push their agenda no matter how much opposition or criticism they receive. You can take that to the bank.
From the mentioned "Something Wicked..." article:
After all the years of digging through the mud of the Matrix Control System and collecting data which leads to the inescapable idea that we are not at the top of the Food Chain here on the Big Blue Marble, there are still things that can affect me with a paralyzing sense of helplessness. Reading Richard Dolan's expose of the ongoing denial by the government of the "Alien Presence" on our planet - UFOs and the National Security State - is one of them. [The reader may wish to visit Keyhole Publishing to read selected chapters of this book. The Introduction is an excellent synopsis of the problem.]
Why?
Because it is painfully obvious that most of humanity WANT to be deceived.
Dolan's chronological history of the actual interaction between UFOs and the public and the corresponding behavior of the military, the intelligence community, the media, the scientific community in ITS interaction with the public, make this abundantly clear.
1. Nobody's questioning the fact that innocent people died. Big explosion=death most of the time, unless my physics teacher lied to me. Questioning the facts of that explosion does not undermine that tragedy, or the respect of the questioners. Assuming that it is true (which I'm not), wouldn't the passengers of flight 77 want the truth of their deaths known?
2. Who said the government bombed themselves? That would be stupid. What I saw in the video was people pointing out inconsistencies between the evidence and the explanation. No finger pointing.
3. Take the theory with a grain a salt. That's a good idea, especially with all the speculation around politics these days. But people! Take the prepackaged CNN explanations with a grain of salt too. Don't just blindly believe in anything ANYONE tells you, CNN and theorists alike.
4. I can't believe I'm commenting in this thread. I promised myself I wasn't going to participate in these things anymore.
Also, before anyone freaks out about me being a liberal commie or whatever nonsense, I'm not saying I believe it; I'm not saying I disbelieve it. I'll admit they have a point, but I'm not going to believe everything I see on the web.
Thank you. I agree 100%. But it still scares me how upset people become when we consider questioning the "facts." What are you so afraid of? Sure, something hit the Pentagon - most likely a plane. But who was behind it? Is it that far fetched to think that maybe we've been mislead or misdirected? I'm not saying we have, because I don't necessarily believe that. But could it happen? Perhaps. Considering these things doesn't trivialize the tragedy in any way. An open mind is a great thing to have, as long as one is smart and draws their own conclusions and is willing to at least listen and consider other arguements, whether you WANT to believe them or not.
There's nothing wrong with questioning the facts, just so long as you engage your brain when you do it. Conspiracy weenies are great at poking holes in accounts because they prey on suspicion and lack of depth of knowledge. If you don't know how fucking huge the Pentagon is, and somebody tells you the whole and the damage were small and shows you pictures that distort the scale, then yes, it seems plausible.
What conspiracy buffs are really loathe to point out is what would be necessary for an alternate theory to have happened. Say the Pentagon was hit by a missile. To fabricate the story requires one of two things:
(Assuming the government was covering up someone else's actions)
Get quite literally thousands of people acting in concert to fabricate a story. This story requires that:
A) The government enlist legions in a media conspiracy to fabricate a plane and lots of dead people that didn't exist or
B) The government kill an disappear a planeload of people to cover up, what, that the bad guys have missiles?
They must put this together in a matter of less than an hour.
Not fucking cogent.
(Assuming the government attacked its own to start a war, or whatever Trilateral Illuminati badness they're up to.)
Get quite literally thousands of people acting in concert to fabricate a story and along the way murder lots of American civilians. This story requires that:
A) The government hijacked three airliners to do this but couldn't manage to get a fourth
B) They decide the first three hijackings aren't enough and decide to shoot a missile across Northern Virginia, for no discernible reason.
or
C) The other attacks were real and the government decided to kill its own for no discernible reason and they manage to get a missile into the Pentagon in under an hour.
And A and B above.
Not fucking cogent.
Not to mention in either scenariothey do all of this and nobody backs out and nobody talks and nobody notices.
