It looks like he's asking about the bars on his chest. That's what he's pointing at.

I read about the anniversary dinner at Wendy's a while back.

Bottom line: Eh. Whatever.

I'm a "commom person" and I wouldn't eat at Wendy's. He should have stopped at In-N-Out.

Am I the only one here who thinks Wendy's is head and shoulders above most fast food restaurants save In-N-Out (and this Steak and Shake I keep hearing about)?

Like the Marines said in the linked article, kinda rude to use them for political stunts like that when they're just trying to have lunch... Of course the Marines are polite and respectful; don't abuse it, Kerry.

I'm curious to know what you'd think, if Bush had spoken to the Marines in wendy's...would it be rude?

I don't think either party using the military for political advantage is right. So, I'd be irritated too. Especially since I've been in a similiar situation (with Wolfowitz - made me really dislike the man).

And Dubya has never used the military for political advantage or photo ops... whatever

As far as I know, I've never said anything in support of it. I understand the political benefits of the photo-ops, but I don't like them - whether it's Bush at Thanksgiving or Kerry in Wendy's. I'm glad they both want to support the troops, but "dog and pony" photo ops are not the best way.
