Jesus Of Nazareth was an Essene who intentionally tried to fulfill the prophecy's, especially re: riding into Jeruselam on an ass, etc. in order to incite a violent revolution against the Romans.

Jesus was just one of hundreds before and since that claimed to be Christ...is it a coincidence that one of the most common delusions is a Messianic complex?

While I'm sure it's true that a messianic complex is more common, believing that robots are following you around in a van is one of the funnier delusions.

well militant means; ready to fight, especially for some cause, combative.

so if he was trying to start a violent revolt that pretty much makes him a militant.

Matthew 10:34 "Do not think that I have come to bring peace on earth; I have not come to bring peace, but with a sword."

I mean, think about it. Swords, rising from the dead, there's only one logical explanation. That's right:

Okay this pic had better pull a Lazarus soon. mad

You all need to read "Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Friend of Jesus". It's funny as shit and tells the story of Joshua (The J-Man) and his buddy Biff (That's the sound his mother's sandal makes when she slaps him upside the head) growing up and trying to figure out the whole Messiah thing.

If you go to Amazon and look for the book, you can read the first 10 or so pages, make your own decision.

Delusions are ideas that you may believe in fervently but actually have no basis in fact.
Delusions of persecution are the most common.

Miracles,…………… yeah who needs em’.
The truth is we are all sons and daughters of the big G. So when you go out there and come back, and no else thinks they are, vwa’la’ you must be Christ.
You’re in delusion city, if you think there can be only one.
Thirty two documented historic examples of priests who were killed and resurrected, delusion, indeed.

Yes, Jesus is Conor McCloud

With the cellular revolution upon us, and hands-free phones becoming more and more prevalent, it will soon be impossible to distinguish between "normal" folk and street people having animated discussions with their delusions.

I also believe it won't be too long before our Nation's mental hospitals are filled with those who mistakenly believe they are on a reality t.v. show and that everyone else is "in on it."
