You can make a Short Form Claim if:

* You experienced an unauthorized or incorrect electronic transfer to or from your PayPal account;
* Your PayPal account was improperly restricted or access was improperly limited;
* You requested information from PayPal about an account restriction or limitation or unauthorized transfer and you did not receive a satisfactory response; and/or
* You experienced or reported an unsatisfactory result from a dispute with PayPal involving a chargeback, a refund, a buyer complaint, or PayPal’s Seller Protection Policy, Buyer Complaint Process and/or Buyer Protection Policy.

If you make a timely, valid claim using the Short Form Claim, you will receive a payment of $50.

$50 is the deal I guess. I've had problems with PayPal and transfers and such, but I can't understand this lawyer speak for the life of me, so I can't even figure out if any of my situations apply. Blah.

I got the email. never had any problems with paypal though. and I figure, I'll be gone before the money gets handed out, so to hell with it. I've yet to figure out exactly what the grievance was...probably because since I never got bothered with them I didn't look into it. enh.

I got one. I'm seeing a lawyer soon to see if i should accept or if i should file suit of my own for how they wronged me.

chances are the lawyer is going to charge more than you could ever expect to get.

I actually have a family friend who is an attorney. He'd do the advice-giving and legal-threatening-letter-writing pro bono. Great guy. But if i have to i will sue pay pal for legal fees as well as the money I lost.
