Andy Kaufman reportedly told his manager and his girlfriend multiple times before his death
that he actually planned on faking his death and coming back 20 years later

so there was a big event planned
and people came out and stuff

but his manager bob zamuda or whatever just brought out the Tony Clifton character again
which Andy reportedly also asked him to keep alive

i think it was just as Andy was dying
he was still thinking of ways to fuck with people

Yahoo claims that DNA testing has been done and confirms that it is indeed Andy Kauffman. Andy himself claims that his parents are hired actors and he was shuttled around foster homes.

I was way too young too have seen andy preform but I watched the movie the "man in the moon" and he looks like a man who enjoys life and that I can respect.

Rather anti-climatic, don't you think? I would think he would have made a much bigger, more public ressurection with a little more suspense. Like on David Letterman. And have the proof ready, appear as himself, not "Tony Clifton. I only hope no one pretends to be Ladka any time soon...
