have you taken non-prescription narcotics recently? Get over it? conservatives in this country couldn't get over a president getting a hummer from an intern and i'm supposed to get over an administration making up reasons to "justify" a war for profit. i call bullshit. and if iraq were better off, the lies might be a little easier to swallow. but if you ask the families of all the people, american and iraqi, that have lost their lives over the past year due to this war, i don't think you would have many supporters.
i say good day.

Interesting view from Iraq:

Some good, some bad, but pretty evenly split on the security forces there, and how they feel about their life now and how it will be moving forward.
Before the flames start, i'm not Dem or GOP!

Well, Sadam was not in the Nuke business, but he sure as hell was doing well in the Filling The Mass Grave and Invading His Neighbors business.

Liberals believe in Freedom and Liberty, except for Iraqi's.

Fuck Iraq. "You liberals" gets tossed around so much. You are so full of shit, you give a fuck about the Iraqis'? I really fucking doubt it. If so, you must give a fuck about them a whole lot more than you do Americans, becuase your favorite administration is diverting funds for health care and other programs to "save and liberate them". Iraq is in no better position right now then they were two years ago.
I say fuck Iraq, spend the billions and billions here, where it counts.

some footage from that horrible time in Iraq's history where Sadam was filling mass graves and invading his neighbors..

you'll have to copy and paste that url

Who gives a fuck what Saddam was doing and to who!

Are you seriously more interested in the safety if Iraqis than your own people? Because that is what you are saying. You are saying that, despite the increase in terrorism that invading Iraq will cause and the potential danger this will pose to others and myself, I'm very concerned about the Human Rights in Iraq and it should be invaded.

You should vote democrat with such an altruistic worldview.

Personally I care more about my friends and family than Iraqis, sad but true.

Bush should have gone after actual terrorists. That’s usually the way to stop something isn’t it… you go after the people actually doing it?

yeah, he lied.
but that's not the worst that his crew did.
the worst his crew did was alienate the world and go it alone. it should not have been as hard a sell to get the world after saddam.
the worst he did was try his own awkward hand at diplomacy and let remsfeld speak public ever.
he should have listened to colin powell, and he should have listened to general shinseki. especially about a war...
(for a really good laugh read my old posts here from about a year ago...ok, i'm humbled.)

Or not-so-attractive girls...

Fact is, politicians lie. It's how they get elected. And every time an independent runs and doesn't get 10% of the votes, the Republicrats and the Demicans high-five each other, because they've kept that Federal funding for campaigning between the 2 parties, and don't have to share.

Unfortunately, politicians are not of the same motivation as they used to be. Politicians used to believe in helping the populace, now it's all about the money, the power (which is used to get more money), and writing the book, whether it be the memoirs or the expose' (used to get even _more_ money).

Sorry if I sound cynical, I really don't mean to. We still have the best system in the world, but we're losing sight of the people here because we're focusing too much on the people "over there".
